Synopsis of the story of Hui Yehui
Living in the mountains in the old grandfather (Diwell Takeo voice) early in the morning into the mountain to cut bamboo, the results in a nearby glowing bamboo shoot found only the size of the palm of the doll. The old grandfather, who has no children, is so excited that he returns home with the doll in his hands, and the little one becomes bigger and bigger in the hands of the old woman (Miyamoto Nobuko). In the years that follow, her loving grandfather takes care of his princess (Akaki Asakura), and the little girl grows at an astonishing rate as she travels the countryside with the village children, meets the honest brother Sesamaru (Kengo Kaka), and an inexplicable song makes her cry.
