Synopsis of the Shining
Jack (Jack Nicholson) is a writer. One winter, he got a job looking after the hotel on the top of the mountain. This is just what Jack wants. He can have a quiet place to write. So Jack moved into a hotel with his wife and son.
Winter snow closed the road, the mountain top hotel only Jack a family of three. From the moment they move in, Jack’s wife Wendy (Shelley Duvall) finds the atmosphere strange, and Jack’s son Danny (Danny Lloyd) often sees people he doesn’t know, but there is no one here except the family. In addition to writing all day long, Jack’s temper became increasingly odd.
Until one day, Wendy found that her husband had been writing only one sentence for days: Jack is crazy!
