Synopsis of the Grand Budapest Hotel
The story begins with an unknown writer (Jude Law), who, in order to concentrate on his work, goes to a restaurant called “Budapest”, where the writer meets the owner of the restaurant, Mustafa (F. Murray Abraham), Mustafa invites the writer to dinner. He told the writer about the past and present life of the weathered hotel.
The former owner of the hotel was named Gustavo (Ralph Fiennes), and the young Mustafa (Tony Revolori) was just a small doorman who followed him at the time. Gustavo was a man of integrity and shrewd ability, and under his management and organization, the Grand Boudapes Hotel became the premier resort of its time. Gustavo and the elderly Mrs. D (Tilda Swinton) hit it off, and when Mrs. D dies, she leaves a valuable painting to Gustavo in her will, angering her son Dimitri (Adrien Brody), This was the beginning of the doom of the Grand Budapest Hotel and Gustavo.
