Although suffering from heart disease, but the young Sho (Kamiki Ryunosuke voice) parents still neglect to care for him. In order to prepare for the upcoming surgery, Xiang came to the remote rural aunt (Keiko Takeshita voice) home to rest.

My aunt’s home is located in a quiet jungle, which is a European villa with a history of hundreds of years. Here in addition to living aunt and maid Aharun (tree Shirin voice), there is a strange family of three, “borrow things” – small person Alieti (Shida future voice) and her father (Miura Tomokazu voice) mother (Otake Ninju voice), they live under the floor of the villa, only a few centimeters high, living a life that is not noticed by humans.

When they encountered the daily necessities they needed, they would sneak into the kitchen in the dead of night and borrow them. Xiang inadvertently caught a glimpse of Alieti’s figure, he has a heart to get close to these legendary villains, but unknowingly disturb their lives… Based on British author Mary NORTON’s book The Little Man Who Borrowed Things, the film won the 2011 Japan Film Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
