Synopsis of the Song of the Sea
On a picturesque island in the middle of the sea, a young boy named Ben (David Rawle) and his pregnant mother Brona (Lisa Hannigan) spend one last happy and memorable night together. Soon after, her sister Saoirse (Lucy O’Connell) is born, and her mother dies. Six years later, their father Connor (Brendan Gleeson) has never been out of the pain of the death of his wife, and the dreamy Saoirse accidentally found the mother left the piper, the result is nearly drowned in the sea, and eventually led to the grandmother forced to take the two children off the island. Brother and sister can not adapt to the city life, they wander the streets, accidentally encounter three strange elves. They hope to return to their hometown with the singing of Saoirse, the Seal woman, and their magical adventure begins…
