Resident Evil 5: Punishment Synopsis
In the previous episode, Alice (Milla Jovovich) rescued her frozen companions, only to be killed by mercenaries on their way out. The T-virus has caused the Red Queen (Megan Charpentier) to go wrong in her program, becoming a cruel and bloodthirsty woman who wants to kill the last of humanity and destroy the earth. Alice is the only one who can stop the Red Queen. At the moment, Alice, who has lost her powers, is imprisoned by the Umbrella Corporation in a secret base under the sea. Wesker (Shawn Roberts) infiltrates the Umbrella Corporation’s system through a virus, and he sets Alice free, telling her that she is humanity’s last hope, and in order to save humanity, they must bury their differences and fight together against a more powerful enemy. Alice meets IDA Wang (Li Bingbing), a former employee of the Umbrella company, and they forge a deep friendship along the way. Meanwhile, Alice’s old comrades also form a team to break out from the outside in.
The umbrella company has built a realistic simulated city on the sea floor, and uses clones as the test objects of the T-virus, in order to reach the exit, Alice and her party must pass through four cities, Tokyo, New York, Washington and Moscow, and in each city, there are zombies that belong to it.
