Hero Suzuki (Hiroshi Oizumi), a 35-year-old man living in Tokyo, is an assistant to a famous cartoonist who published a single book in his early years, but has remained anonymous since then. Not only is his life difficult, but his relationship with his girlfriend Tetsuko Kurokawa (片濑那奈) is also becoming strained. Perhaps too preoccupied with his own circumstances, the hero is unaware of the succession of anomalies around him. What had been an orderly city suddenly turned into a zombie-infested hunting ground.
