Synopsis of Dunkirk
The story is based on the famous World War II military event “Dunkirk evacuation”. At the beginning of the Second World War, 400,000 British and French Allied troops were trapped on the beaches of Dunkirk, facing a desperate situation as the enemy approached. The British government and navy mobilized large crews to mobilize the people to rescue the troops.
Tommy (Fionn Whitehead), a British soldier, befriends Gibson and Alex while fleeing the beach, while Mr. Dawson (Mark Rylance), a civilian ship owner, leaves England with his son Peter and 17-year-old George to rescue the soldiers at Dunkirk. The three rescue Marine (Cillian Murphy), pilot Collins, and Tommy, while fighter pilot Ferrell (Tom Hardy) fights doggedly while being caught on both sides of the enemy.
The story of the film is told from the perspectives of land, sea and air. Surrounded by German troops, everyone has to fight for their fate in order to return home alive.
