Synopsis of the Psychic
A village in the Isan region of Thailand is a place where modern civilization has rarely been immersed. A documentary team travels here, hoping to document the legacy of a certain shaman family’s patron saint. The protagonist is named Nim (Sani Utoma), and her family believes in the god Bayan. Although he was chosen by Bayan to be the third generation shaman, Nim’s sister Noi (SIRANI YANKITTIKAN) was originally supposed to take the position. However, Noe was unable to bear the pain and tried to get her sister to replace him, and she converted to Christianity and lived an ordinary life. Over the years, Bayan seems to have chosen the next shaman for Noi’s beautiful daughter Min (Narela Courmon Colpett).
