Synopsis of the Seven Deadly SINS
“Gluttony,” “greed,” “laziness,” “jealousy,” “pride,” “lust,” and “anger” are the seven deadly SINS of human nature, according to Catholic doctrine. The serial murders in the city happen to be people who are guilty of these doctrines. The murderer’s mysterious modus operandi makes veteran and calm police officer Samuel (Morgan Freeman) and ruthless new police officer Mills (Brad Pitt) trapped in the mystery of solving the case. They went to the library to read Dante’s Divine Comedy, trying to find clues from the depiction of hell on earth, and finally from the world of religious literature and philosophy to find the murderer’s crime plan and means of clues. The murderer came to surrender, which makes everyone breathe a sigh of relief, thinking that the case is over, how can not escape the killing logic of seven deadly crimes, this time the murderer aims at the target, is the person who committed the crime of “anger”.
