Anna (played by Dakota Johnson) has found a promising new job in the publishing industry and is preparing to start her own new life. Gray (played by Jamie Dornan) still launches a passionate attack on Anna. Although she has decided to get rid of her past seed, Anna cannot resist Gray’s charm. In the end, after Gray promises to make a change, Anna accepts him again.
At first, the two reconciled and enjoyed a brief moment of sweetness, but as time passed, Gray’s true nature gradually revealed itself. He not only obtained Anna’s bank account information from special channels, restricted her personal freedom, but even spent a huge amount of money to buy the company where Anna works. As Gray’s actions gradually challenge Anna’s patience, Gray’s ill intentioned ex girlfriend Lyra (played by Bella Heathcote) reappears in his life.
