Synopsis of Life of PI
The story begins and ends in Montreal. A writer (Rafe Spall) in search of inspiration comes across the legendary story of PI Patel (Irrfan Khan). PI’s father (Adil Hussain) runs a zoo. Because of this special living environment, the boy PI (Suraj Sharma) has his own ideas about faith and human nature. At the age of 17, PI’s parents decide to emigrate to Canada in search of a better life, and he must leave his first love behind. On board a ship bound for Canada, they meet a ruthless French chef (Gerard Depardieu). In the middle of the night in the middle of the sea, the storm that originally excited Pai turned into a disaster that swallowed up the cargo ship. PI miraculously survives, drifting across the Pacific Ocean in a lifeboat with the most unlikely of companions: Richard Parker, a Bengal tiger. An amazing adventure began unexpectedly…
