The plot of Wall-E
In 2805 AD, human civilization was highly developed, but the earth was no longer suitable for human habitation due to a large increase in pollution and domestic waste. The people of Earth are forced to leave their homeland in a spaceship for a long and endless journey into space. Before leaving, they commissioned Buynlarge, a company that has developed robots called WALL·E (Waste Allocation Load Lifters – Earth Waste dispensers) to clean up the Earth’s waste.
These robots are programmed to work hard day after day, year after year, but with the passage of time and the erosion of the harsh environment, the WALL·E has been damaged and stopped moving. In the end only one is still working on this seemingly endless task. After a long time, it began to have its own consciousness. He likes to hide his collection of treasures carefully, likes to watch musical films from centuries ago after work, and has a cockroach friend for company. Until one day, a spaceship from space breaks up its routine life…
The film won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature at the 81st Academy Awards in 2009.
