Norwegian forest synopsis
When Kizuki commits suicide, she leaves her childhood sweetheart Naoko (Rin-ko Kikuchi) and their best friend Watanabe (Kenichi Matsuyama) with an unhealed wound. In order to forget the painful memories, Watanabe chose to study in Tokyo. In his new environment, Watanabe forgets almost everything about his past until he runs into Naoko one day. In their collective memory, Kizuki was an impossible topic to avoid, but they did not mention this person as if they had made an agreement.

Naoko 20 years old birthday, outside the dirty rain, the house Naoko and Watanabe warm night. Naoko moves, and once again she disappears from Watanabe’s life, and once again Watanabe’s life seems to return to peace, but his heart is full of guilt for hurting Naoko, until Watanabe receives a letter from Naoko. Watanabe met the cheerful and enthusiastic female classmate green (Suihara Heiko), the two soon fell in love, but in Watanabe’s heart, there will always be a place for Naoko…
