Synopsis of Gravity
Deep and vast in outer space, the blue Earth is in stark contrast to the deep and dark universe. On an American space station, several crew members are on a spacewalk, doing routine checks on their satellites. First time in space, Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) methodically checks every piece with the help of veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (George Clooney). This was Kowalski’s last flight before retirement, and he livened up the atmosphere of the team with humor. At that moment, the terrible news came from Houston headquarters that a recently defunct Russian satellite had been destroyed by a missile, and the debris scattered in Earth orbit faster than a bullet and accidentally hit other satellites, causing a chain reaction that created new debris.
Ryan’s party was hit by debris, some of them were killed, and she and Kowalski lost control and plunged deep into space. The surviving two have to trust each other and fight as hard as they can to move toward their homeland…
