The plot of Trainspotting
In Edinburgh, Scotland, three young men, Reiden (Ewan McGregor), Potato (Ewen Bremner) and Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), lead chaotic lives. They do everything from drugs and promiscuity to fraud, and in the process of wasting their youth so recklessly, drugs become the source of all evil. Reiden loves and hates him, tries to get clean and ends up doing the same thing. After an orgy, the three of them die with a baby born to an unknown teenage girl, Alison (Susan Vidler). This is where the nightmare really begins. After being jailed during the potato robbery, Reiden overdosed on drugs and was rushed to the hospital, where he was forced to detox. Horrible hallucinations and angry fears forced him to give up drugs. Seemingly beautiful new life, but the former friend Begby (Robert Carlyle Robert Carlyle is acted the role of) and so on come to the door, once again to bring him infinite troubles…
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Irvine Welsh.
