Roman Holiday synopsis
A European Princess Anne (Audrey Hepburn) visits Rome. She is bored, but she is tired of formalities. One night, physically and mentally exhausted, she secretly came to the folk to enjoy the night scene, and met a newspaper reporter Joe (Gregory Peck). Two people hand together, quite happy. The princess even visited Joe’s house and spent the night there.
Unexpectedly Joe accidentally discovered the true identity of the princess, he decided to cook up an exclusive news, so Joe and friends, photographer Owen (Eddie Albert is acted the role of Eddie Albert) together with the princess to travel to Rome, and secretly took a lot of photos of the princess’s life. However, in the following time with the princess, Joe unknowingly fell in love with the princess. In order to protect the image of the princess, Joe can only bear to abandon the opportunity of success and fame, and send the photo to the princess.
After a one-day holiday in Rome, Princess Anne experienced her own responsibility to the country, resolutely returned to the embassy, and decisively abandoned love for her own responsibility.
