Synopsis of Sherlock: The Abominable Bride
The 2016 Sherlock special will see Holmes return to the original Victorian era to investigate the mysterious murder of a ghost bride. Thomas Ricoletti is surprised to find that his wife Emelia Ricoletti, who committed suicide a few hours earlier, has reappeared in her old wedding dress, her ghost prowling the streets with a burning desire for revenge. From the misty Limehouse to the depths of the abandoned church, Holmes, Watson, and their friends have to find ways to deal with an enemy who “rises from the grave,” but the ultimate truth is not what anyone expected.
